Good Sam is now hiring a Junior Business Analyst to be based in our Englewood, CO corporate headquarters. The Junior Business Analyst will be responsible for identifying trends and executing analytic initiatives for Good Sam marketing and operations efforts. The successful candidate will have a background in subscription-based services. Analytics range from reporting to advanced segmentation, and various ad hoc opportunities to drive insight. The analytics are heavy in the retail, customer service and digital domains.
Serve as the analytic project manager for execution of business analytics for the Good Sam Club
Drive reporting (strategy and execution) and targeting recommendations for acquisition, upgrade, winback and retention initiatives
Work with internal business owners to propose opportunities for data and analytics to support the growth and optimization of marketing and operations programs
Own and execute analytics operations, work processes and output of data:
Direct Mail and email campaign analysis / analysis of performance / strategic insight
Ad hoc analytics requests
Data extraction, analysis and QC using SQL or other languages/tools as available
Model development and multi-channel targeting strategies to support acquisition and retention efforts
Provide results, recommendations and advice to the team in a clear, concise manner
Work cross-functionally and develop and/or communicate strategy to align the objectives of the organization across departments
Key Skills and Experience
2-5 years of marketing or analytics experience with exposure to a variety of large and complex data sets.
Experience working with marketing/sales programs, including analysis of, reporting, support for targeting, etc.
Ability to effectively problem solve in a quick, accurate manner. Proactively identify and analyze problems and produce a viable solution.
Strong project management and interpersonal skills with a team-first attitude.
Advanced/expert level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint etc.) required; SQL proficiency a plus.
Stay abreast of industry technology innovations, new business practices, and third-party technology solutions.
