The Inventory Analyst provides strategic support to the Camping World RV Sales network by managing the supply chain of new RV rolling stock from stocking plans to order management, distribution, transport, and pricing of inventory. We have grown over 47% in sales volume over the past 3 years and need talented, driven individuals!
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop inventory plans for current regional dealership locations
Model, analyze, and interpret internal and external inventory data, competitor data, and industry trends to help inform purchasing decisions
Collaborate with regional upper management to optimize inventory plans and communicate regularly with dealership general managers to aid in execution of said inventory plans
Collaborate with RV manufacturer sales managers to optimize product selection at dealerships and arrange appropriate discounting of bulk-purchased inventory
Recommend and execute inventory purchasing decisions
Manage and reconcile stock order data against manufacturer production schedules
Field questions from both internal and external sources in a succinct and professional manner
BA, BS or MS Finance, Accounting, or Supply Chain Management, preferred
Database management and inventory management experience, preferred
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Power BI and Salesforce knowledge is a plus
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to create and interpret inventory models
Ability to forecast, plan, and control inventory
